Understand Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
Useful when…
- Use it on a support or other wearer who benefits from Energy Regeneration Rate and can direct the ATK bonus to the first lineup slot.
- Consider it when a specific first-slot character is intended to receive the 12% ATK bonus.
How do the set effects work?
The two-piece bonus increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, the first character's ATK increases by 12%. The recipient is determined by lineup position, not by a stated role or target selection.
What should you check in the lineup?
Before using the set for its ATK support, confirm that its wearer is not first and that the character you want to support is first. If the wearer is first, the stated ATK condition is not met. The Energy Regeneration Rate bonus still applies to the wearer either way.
How do other energy-focused options differ?
Penacony, Land of the Dreams also grants 5% Energy Regeneration Rate, then increases damage for other allies of the wearer's Type. Sprightly Vonwacq uses the same regeneration bonus but advances the wearer's action at battle start if SPD is at least 120. These are distinct triggers and beneficiaries; they are not direct equivalents to Lushaka's first-slot ATK condition.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ATK bonus is tied to the first lineup slot and is unavailable when the wearer is first.
- The set provides no stated direct damage bonus to the wearer beyond supporting the first character's ATK.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Putting the wearer first and expecting the first-character ATK bonus to activate.
- Confusing Lushaka's first-slot ATK bonus with Penacony's damage bonus for allies matching the wearer's Type.
