Understand Sprightly Vonwacq
Useful when…
- A wearer who benefits from a 5% Energy Regeneration Rate increase.
- A wearer at 120 SPD or higher whose opening action benefits from the immediate 40% action advance.
What are the effects and conditions?
The two-piece bonus always increases Energy Regeneration Rate by 5%. At 120 SPD or higher, the wearer's action is advanced forward by 40% immediately upon entering battle. The action advance is an opening effect, not a stated repeated effect.
When should you use it?
Consider it when the wearer values Energy Regeneration Rate, or when the 120 SPD condition makes an earlier opening action useful. Do not pursue the speed threshold without a reason to value that opening advance.
How does it compare with other sets?
Penacony, Land of the Dreams also grants 5% Energy Regeneration Rate, and increases damage by 10% for other allies of the same Type as the wearer. Vonwacq instead offers a conditional opening action advance at 120 SPD. Celestial Differentiator is a damage option centered on CRIT DMG and a temporary first-attack CRIT Rate effect, not regeneration or action advance.
What should you avoid?
Do not count on the 40% action advance if the wearer is below 120 SPD. The 5% regeneration applies without that condition, so evaluate the two parts separately.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The opening action advance requires 120 SPD.
- The set's main value may be limited if the wearer neither needs the regeneration nor benefits from acting earlier.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the action advance applies below 120 SPD.
- Confusing the immediate opening advance with a recurring action effect.
