Understand Penacony, Land of the Dreams
Useful when…
- A wearer who benefits from Energy Regeneration Rate and supports other allies of the same Type.
- A team arrangement where the intended recipients of the 10% damage increase share the wearer's Type.
Who gets each effect?
The wearer gains 5% Energy Regeneration Rate. All other allies of the same Type as the wearer gain 10% damage. The wearer is not included in the stated damage bonus.
When should you consider it?
Consider the set when a wearer values Energy Regeneration Rate and one or more other same-Type allies can use the damage increase. If no other ally shares the wearer's Type, the stated team damage benefit has no recipient.
How do similar regeneration sets differ?
Lushaka also grants 5% Energy Regeneration Rate, then increases the first character in the team lineup's ATK by 12% if the wearer is not first. Sprightly Vonwacq grants the same regeneration increase and advances the wearer's action by 40% at 120 SPD. Penacony instead ties its additional benefit to other allies' Type.
What should you avoid?
Do not count the 10% damage increase for the wearer; it applies to other same-Type allies. Check the team's Types before choosing it for its support effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The damage increase only benefits other allies of the wearer's Type.
- The wearer receives Energy Regeneration Rate, not the stated damage increase.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the 10% damage bonus for the wearer.
- Assuming all allies receive the damage increase regardless of Type.
