Understand Antitoxin
Useful when…
- Add Toxin resistance to a Warframe build.
- Use the Vazarin polarity when it fits your available capacity and build.
Effect and rank
At rank 0 it grants 7.5% Toxin Resistance; at rank 3, 30%; and at rank 5, 45%. It is a Warframe mod with a maximum rank of 5 and base drain 4.
Slot and investment
It uses a standard Warframe slot and has Vazarin polarity. Mod fusion increases its listed resistance, with later rank steps costing more: the example step from rank 4 to 5 costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. Rank it according to the resistance you need and capacity available.
Compare before installing
Flawed Antitoxin is a lower-capacity, lower-resistance variant: it reaches 20% at rank 3, while standard Antitoxin reaches 45% at rank 5. Adaptation instead builds resistance to the damage type that hits you, stacking up to 90% for 20 seconds; that is a different, damage-triggered condition. Antitoxin cannot be equipped alongside Flawed Antitoxin.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- A standard slot spent on toxin resistance is unavailable for another mod.
- Higher ranks raise resistance but require additional fusion investment.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not expect Antitoxin to protect against every damage type; its listed effect is specifically Toxin Resistance.
- Do not try to equip it together with Flawed Antitoxin.
