Calculated Redirection GUIDE
Understand Calculated Redirection
Useful when…
- Increasing a companion’s shield capacity.
Effect and restriction
At maximum rank, this Vazarin-polarity standard Companion mod grants +250% Shield Capacity. It has base drain 4, a rank cap of 10, and is explicitly incompatible with Link Redirection.
Rank and cost
Rank 0 gives +23%, rank 5 +136%, and rank 10 +250% Shield Capacity. The final step costs 5,120 Endo and 247,296 Credits, a substantial cost for its final increase.
Other companion options
Link Redirection is a different shield mod that adds shield based on the Warframe’s maximum shield, but it cannot be equipped with Calculated Redirection. Accelerated Deflection changes shield recharge and recharge delay instead of capacity. Aerial Bond is described as an airborne-triggered companion effect, not a shield-capacity alternative.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The final rank step has high listed Endo and Credit costs.
- The named Link Redirection alternative is mutually incompatible.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Equipping Link Redirection alongside Calculated Redirection.
- Confusing added shield capacity with shield recharge improvements.
