Understand Link Redirection
Useful when…
- Increase companion shields using a percentage of the Warframe's maximum shields.
Effect and dependency
At maximum rank, Link Redirection adds shields equal to +125% of the Warframe's maximum shields. Rank 0 grants +11%, while rank 5 grants +68%. The bonus is linked to the Warframe's shield value, so its size varies accordingly. This is a standard Companion mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 4.
Rank investment
It has ten ranks; the listed 9→10 step costs 10,240 Endo and 494,592 Credits, raising the linked bonus from +113% to +125%. Decide whether that last increment is worth the listed cost for the Warframe and companion configuration you use.
Other companion defenses
Calculated Redirection lists +250% Shield Capacity and is explicitly incompatible with Link Redirection. Accelerated Deflection affects shield recharge and delay rather than maximum shield capacity. Aerial Bond describes airborne effects. These are different defensive or utility effects, not interchangeable versions of the linked maximum-shield bonus.
Listed sources
The supplied sources include Drahk, Kubrow, Tamm, and an Earth cache Rotation C reward. The listed reward entries do not guarantee acquisition.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The shield increase scales from the Warframe's maximum shields.
- Cannot be equipped with Calculated Redirection.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating +125% of Warframe maximum shields as a fixed amount.
- Equipping it alongside Calculated Redirection despite their incompatibility.
