Understand Conductive Blade

Useful when…

  • Archmelee builds that want added Electricity damage.
  • Elemental setups where the Electricity component is part of the intended configuration.

Effect and fit

At rank 5, Conductive Blade gives +120% Electricity. It is a standard Archmelee mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and five ranks. It applies to Archmelee equipment, not ordinary melee weapons or Archguns.

Choosing between related mods

Ion Infusion offers +60% Electricity and +60% Status Chance at its listed maximum, combining an elemental bonus with status chance. Astral Slash instead adds +90% Slash. These are different contributions; select according to whether the build needs Electricity, status chance, or Slash rather than treating them as equivalent upgrades.

Rank investment

The bonus rises from +20% at rank 0 to +120% at rank 5. The final step, rank 4 to 5, costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits. That investment is most sensible when Electricity is a planned part of the Archmelee setup; lower ranks retain a smaller version of the same contribution.

Common misread

This mod grants Electricity damage; it does not grant status chance. Ion Infusion explicitly includes both Electricity and status chance, while Astral Autopsy's listed effect is a Codex scan on fatal strikes and requires an equipped scanner with a charge.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • It uses a standard Archmelee slot and contributes Electricity rather than status chance.
  • Maximum rank requires more Endo and Credits than a partially ranked copy.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Installing it on an Archgun or ordinary melee weapon.
  • Expecting an Electricity mod to also increase status chance.
