Understand Conductive Sphere
Useful when…
- Gyre builds that can send projectiles through Arcsphere.
- Setups seeking guaranteed Electricity status from projectiles that pass through the sphere.
What the augment changes
Projectiles that pass through Arcsphere receive a guaranteed Electricity Status Effect and added Electricity Damage. The damage bonus scales from +15% at rank 0 to +75% at rank 3. Passing through Arcsphere is the stated condition; the effect is not described as applying to every projectile regardless of its path.
When it fits
Use it when Arcsphere can be positioned so your projectile attacks pass through it. The guaranteed Electricity status can support builds that value applying that status, while the added Electricity Damage contributes directly to those qualifying projectiles. The description does not specify a weapon restriction beyond projectiles passing through Arcsphere.
Other Gyre augment functions
Coil Recharge modifies Coil Horizon by allowing Gyratory Sphere to be recalled and discharge Electricity around it. Reverse Rotorswell redirects a portion of damage received toward its instigator as Electricity Damage. Cathode Current adds Rotorswell discharges and duration when an enemy is eliminated while Cathode Grace is active. These serve different ability interactions from Conductive Sphere's projectile condition.
Rank and slot
This is a standard Gyre mod with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and three ranks. Rank 3 reaches +75% Electricity Damage; the last step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. Rank it according to how often you can route projectiles through Arcsphere and how much the added damage matters to the setup.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its projectile effects require projectiles to pass through Arcsphere.
- It occupies a standard mod slot and competes with other Gyre augments.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the projectile bonus applies without passing through Arcsphere.
- Confusing this projectile effect with the other listed Gyre augments' distinct ability changes.
