Creeping Terrify GUIDE

Understand Creeping Terrify

Useful when…

  • Slowing enemies affected by Nekros's Terrify.

Effect and ranks

Creeping Terrify reduces affected enemies' movement speed. At rank 0 the reduction is 30%, rank 2 gives 50%, and rank 3 gives 60%. It is a standard Nekros mod with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3.

Investment and fit

The final step from rank 2 to 3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for ten additional percentage points of movement-speed reduction. Use a standard slot on Nekros and consider whether stronger slowing justifies the capacity and fusion investment in the ability-focused setup.

Other Nekros augments

Despoil changes Desecrate's resource cost to health; Discharge Strike is a Conclave Soul Punch augment that depletes target energy; Shield of Shadows redirects some damage to nearby Shadows. These affect different abilities or functions, rather than adding Terrify's movement slow.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Uses a standard Nekros mod slot for a Terrify-specific crowd-control effect.
  • Higher ranks strengthen slow and require further Endo and Credits.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Expecting the movement slow to affect enemies not affected by Terrify.
  • Confusing this augment with Nekros augments for Desecrate, Soul Punch, or Shadows of the Dead.
