Understand Ballistica Prime
Useful when…
- Comparing the Normal Shot and Charged Shot profiles, which have different listed damage distributions.
- Considering a crossbow with a separately listed Incarnon Form profile.
Normal and charged attacks
Normal Shot lists 20% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 15% status chance, with 2 Impact, 16 Slash, and 22 Puncture damage. Charged Shot takes 0.8 seconds to charge and lists the same critical and status values, with 3.8 Impact, 30.4 Slash, and 41.8 Puncture damage. Both are projectile attacks.
Capacity, polarities, and Incarnon profile
The crossbow has an eight-round magazine, a 1.2-second reload, and a listed base fire rate of 3.33. It requires Mastery Rank 14 and has one Naramon and two Madurai polarities. Its separate Incarnon Form profile lists a 0.4-second charge, 30% critical chance, 2.5× critical multiplier, 30% status chance, and 830 Slash damage.
Other sidearm mechanics
Athodai Prime is described as gaining temporary fire rate and infinite ammo after weak-point kills. Cyanex fires ricocheting, homing projectiles and can release its magazine as a non-homing burst. These are distinct behaviors from Ballistica Prime’s listed charged crossbow profiles; the comparisons do not establish direct substitutes.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Charged Shot takes 0.8 seconds to charge, and the magazine holds eight rounds.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not describe the Charged Shot as having higher critical or status values than the Normal Shot; both list 20% critical chance, 2× multiplier, and 15% status chance.
- Do not assume multishot 4 means the Normal Shot is a four-projectile attack.
- Do not infer current availability from the Vaulted tag.
