Understand Corufell
Useful when…
- Use normal attacks for close melee damage.
- Use heavy attacks to trigger the temporary gunblade projectile.
- Use slams for area Blast damage, separate from the projectile.
Scythe and gunblade modes
Normal attacks deal 96 Impact, 68 Puncture, and 36 Slash, with 26% critical chance, 2.4× multiplier, and 14% status chance. A heavy attack transforms the weapon and fires a charged projectile: it deals 600 Heat, has a listed 0.833 attack speed, and falls off by 50% from 15 to 30 m. After firing, Corufell returns to heavy-scythe form. The description says its transformation is fastest in Citrine’s hands; it does not quantify the timing difference.
Slams and investment
The regular slam deals 400 Blast in an area, and the heavy slam deals 600 Blast; each lists 10% status chance and its own falloff range. The weapon lists 2.6 m melee range, 0.4 follow-through, a five-second combo duration, and 1.3 seconds of wind-up. It has one Madurai polarity.
Related weapon mechanics
Dorrclave is a blade-and-whip whose description says 10 kills or assists trigger a spectral state for the next 10 attacks. Caustacyst is a scythe whose heavy attacks unleash an acid wave and corrosive sludge. Harmony is a scythe whose heavy attacks condense status damage into one instance, and whose heavy-attack kills empower allies with increased status duration. Consider these if their specific effects fit your intended play; they are not equivalent to Corufell’s fired projectile.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Heavy attacks have a listed 1.3 second wind-up.
- The charged projectile has 50% falloff from 15 to 30 m.
- Normal attack status chance is 14%.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not confuse the 600 Heat charged projectile with the 600 Blast heavy slam; they are separate attacks.
- Do not assume the faster transformation in Citrine’s hands has a specific numerical reduction; none is listed.
