Understand Dorrclave
Useful when…
- Build toward its spectral state through kills or assists, then use the guaranteed-status effect on the next 10 attacks.
- Use it with Dagath to benefit from the healing tied to active Status Effects.
- Choose between normal attacks and the distinct slam modes based on their listed damage and effects.
Spectral state
After 10 kills or assists, Dorrclave enters a spectral state. Follow Through doubles during the state, while the guaranteed Status Effects apply to the next 10 attacks. The guaranteed-status effect is limited to those attacks.
Dagath’s healing
In Dagath’s hands, each active Status Effect heals her slightly. The supplied description does not give a numeric healing amount.
Attack modes
Normal attacks deal 222 Slash damage, with 26% critical chance, a 2.2× critical multiplier, and 24% status chance. Listed attack speed is 0.833 and range is 2.5; base Follow Through is 0.5. Slam attacks deal 444 Slash in an area, have 14% status chance, and fall off to 7 m with 50% reduction. Heavy slams deal 666 Slash in an area, have 14% status chance, and fall off to 8 m with 30% reduction. Heavy attacks list 888 damage and a 0.4-second wind-up.
Other melee options
Corufell transforms into a Gunblade on heavy attacks and returns to its Heavy Scythe state after firing; the transformation is fastest in Citrine’s hands. Sancti Magistar creates a healing pulse for allies on charged attacks and creates resistance to Status Effects when held. Slaytra doubles the duration of Slash Status Effects. These descriptions identify different mechanics, but do not establish a performance ranking against Dorrclave.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The spectral state requires 10 kills or assists before it activates.
- Guaranteed Status Effects apply only to the next 10 attacks.
- Dagath’s healing benefit is frame-specific and described as slight.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the spectral state before reaching 10 kills or assists.
- Applying the guaranteed-status effect beyond the next 10 attacks.
- Assuming Dagath’s healing applies when using another Warframe.
- Confusing the normal attack’s 24% status chance with the spectral state’s guaranteed effects.
