Understand Harmony
Useful when…
- Combat where heavy attacks can capitalize on existing Status Effects.
- Supporting allies’ Status Duration after a Heavy Attack kill.
Signature effects
Harmony’s description states that Heavy Attacks condense Status Effect damage into a single instance. It does not specify which status effects qualify, the exact calculation, or a numeric damage result, so those details should not be assumed. A Heavy Attack kill empowers allies with increased Status Duration; the supplied description gives no magnitude or duration for that increase.
Damage and attack modes
Harmony requires Mastery Rank 10. Its normal attack deals 240 listed damage, split between 168 Puncture and 72 Slash, with 20% critical chance, 2.2× critical multiplier, and 36% status chance. The regular slam is a separate 480 Impact area attack with 10% status chance and 50% falloff by 8 m. The heavy slam lists 720 Blast damage, 10% status chance, and 30% falloff by 9 m. Do not mistake that heavy-slam entry for the description’s Heavy Attack status-condensing effect.
Handling and build
The listed range is 2.6 m, attack speed is about 1.08, heavy-attack damage is 1,440, and wind-up is 1 second. Its Madurai and Vazarin polarities can fit matching-polarity mods, and it ranks to 30. These are weapon characteristics; they do not quantify the special status-condensing effect. The construction list includes a blueprint and materials, but does not establish current access or acquisition timing.
When another weapon fits better
Sancti Magistar is described as healing allies on charged attacks and providing status-effect resistance while held, so consider it for those specific support functions. Galatine is described as a heavy blade that can hit multiple foes in a swing, while Kestrel Prime is a glaive; neither is stated to share Harmony’s status-condensing mechanic.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its named effect depends on Heavy Attacks and the kill-triggered ally benefit depends on a Heavy Attack kill.
- The effect description gives no numerical amount for the condensed damage or Status Duration increase.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the status-condensing effect has a specific formula or applies to every effect without qualification.
- Confusing the heavy-slam damage entry with the described Heavy Attack effect.
