Understand Dethcube
Useful when…
- Equip Vaporize for its periodic stun and damage against an enemy in range.
- Equip Energy Generator when Dethcube's kill assists can contribute to generating Energy Orbs.
- Use Dethcube as a Sentinel companion with the supplied base defensive stats.
Vaporize effect and ranks
Vaporize is a precept that must be equipped. At rank 0, every 10 seconds it stuns and inflicts 150 damage on an enemy within 5 m. At rank 5, the same 10-second interval applies, with 600 damage and a 30 m range. Damage is affected by Sentinel Weapon Mods. The effect is therefore periodic, with rank improving its stated damage and reach; it should not be mistaken for continuous fire or an unrestricted attack against any target.
Energy support and weapon
Energy Generator is a compatible precept that drops an Energy Orb after Dethcube assists in 15 kills at rank 0 or 10 kills at rank 5. Equip it to use this kill-assist condition. Dethcube comes with a Deth Machine Rifle and has 560 Health, 250 Shield, and 80 Armor listed. No attack values for the rifle are supplied, so its damage, accuracy, or firing behavior cannot be stated from this information.
Investment and alternatives
Dethcube is rankable to 30 and has four listed Penjaga polarities. These can guide mod-slot planning. Its supplied build details list a 15,000 build price, a 86,400-second build time, and requirements of 500 Alloy Plate, 400 Circuits, one Control Module, and 200 Nano Spores alongside its blueprint. The comparison identifies Dethcube Prime as a variant with 600 Health, 300 Shield, and 150 Armor, plus a Deth Machine Rifle Prime. Wyrm is instead described with Crowd Dispersion and a laser rifle; consider that distinction if its stated offensive role is the goal.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Vaporize has a 10-second interval and a finite target range; rank increases the listed damage and range.
- Energy Generator requires Dethcube to assist in the specified number of kills before an orb drops.
- The Deth Machine Rifle's attack properties are not provided, so its combat contribution cannot be quantified.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting Vaporize to trigger more often than its listed 10-second interval.
- Ignoring Vaporize's rank-dependent range when expecting it to reach a target.
- Expecting Energy Generator to drop an orb without the required kill assists.
