Understand Nova Prime
Useful when…
- Controlling enemy pace with Molecular Prime.
- Charging Antimatter Drop by shooting it and directing it by aim.
- Using Null Star’s orbiting particles for damage reduction or Wormhole for travel.
Core kit
Null Star creates orbiting particles that attack nearby targets, with each active particle reducing damage to Nova’s Health and Shields. Antimatter Drop detonates on contact; aim to direct it and shoot it to charge it further. It deals Blast damage with a guaranteed status effect. Wormhole provides instantaneous travel, and holding it visualizes placement. Molecular Prime primes enemies in an expanding radius: press to slow them, or hold to speed them up.
Movement and orb outcomes
Choose Molecular Prime’s input with the desired enemy pace in mind. Slowed enemies that die have a chance to drop Health Orbs; sped-up enemies that die have a chance to drop Energy Orbs. The chance is an unresolved placeholder, so it cannot support a percentage or guaranteed-drop claim. The slow and speed effects therefore offer different control and resource implications.
Prime differences and fitting
Nova Prime has 270 Health, 270 Shields, 135 Armor, and 215 Power. Compared with the supplied Nova entry, her Health is the same, while she has 90 more Shields, 30 more Armor, and one additional listed Madurai polarity; both list a Naramon aura polarity. The input does not state a unique ability behavior for Prime, so consider those differences as stats and mod-fit flexibility rather than assuming a changed kit or specific performance result.
Limitations and alternatives
Antimatter Drop needs weapon fire to charge, and its projectile must contact something to detonate. Wormhole is described as instantaneous travel, not an attack or team buff. Mag is a separate crowd-control option whose description emphasizes magnetic fields and defense stripping. Trinity Prime is described around ally healing; neither comparison establishes that they reproduce Nova Prime’s slow-or-speed selection.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Enemy slow and speed are distinct choices with different movement and orb consequences.
- The supplied passive does not establish a numeric orb chance.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Confusing Nova Prime’s Prime stat and polarity differences with a different ability kit.
- Expecting Antimatter Drop to charge without shooting it or assuming a particular passive orb chance.
