Understand Simulor
Useful when…
- Launch orbs into an area and use their listed merging damage and explosion behavior.
- Take advantage of the listed Magnetic damage and 30% status chance.
Orb attacks and damage
The active-trigger weapon launches projectiles at a listed three shots per second. Orb Launch has no damage amount listed in its attack entry. Orb Merging Damage is a separate area attack dealing 100 Magnetic damage, and Orb Explosion deals 200 Magnetic damage with falloff reaching 5 meters at a listed 60% reduction. The weapon-level damage total is listed as 200 Magnetic, but the individual attack entries should be read separately rather than treating each launch as a 200-damage hit. The attacks list 12% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 30% status chance.
Handling and investment
Simulor has an eight-round magazine and a three-second reload. Its attack is projectile-based, so placement and travel matter. It requires Mastery Rank 5 and starts with Vazarin and Naramon polarities, which can guide compatible mod choices.
Weapons with other area behavior
Higasa creates a defensive shield while aiming and charges a beam through kills and blocked shots, combining offense with protection. Alternox fires electrical orbs and has a separate surface-sticking alternate attack. Amprex is described as a continuous electrical beam that chains among nearby enemies. These offer different area or utility patterns from Simulor's projectile-orb behavior.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Projectile launches require positioning and travel time.
- The three-second reload follows an eight-round magazine.
- Orb launch, merge, and explosion damage are listed as separate attacks; their complete interaction conditions are not provided.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting Orb Launch as a direct hit with the listed explosion damage.
- Ignoring the separation between merging damage and the later listed orb explosion.
