Understand Sirius & Orion
Useful when…
- Using Coronal Ejection to deal Heat Damage and collect pickups along its path, or holding the ability to switch to Orion's Gravitic Slash.
- Using Light's Sanctuary for healing, revives, and damage reduction, or holding the ability to switch to Orion's Event Horizon.
- Generating Constellation Stars with abilities for the separate, star-consuming Celestial Clash attack.
How do the two ability modes work?
The listed tap abilities describe Sirius's mode: Coronal Ejection throws a Jade Light-infused scythe that deals Heat Damage and collects pickups in its path; Jade Stars slowly regenerate motes that launch at enemies when attacked, dealing Heat Damage and a Status Effect; Light's Sanctuary creates a well of light that heals and revives allies while reducing incoming damage, and slowly grows in size and power. Holding each of those abilities switches to Orion's corresponding ability: Gravitic Slash, Astral Shell, and Event Horizon. The input lists those alternate abilities by name but does not describe their effects, so their behavior cannot be specified here.
What does Celestial Clash require?
Celestial Clash is a separate aerial attack in which Sirius and Orion attack in a cosmic duel. Each attack consumes a Constellation Star and inflicts damage; the description does not resolve the damage type placeholder. Matching a star's color to the Warframe's color increases Critical Chance. Abilities generate Constellation Stars, and no more than two stars of the same color can be added in a row. The listed controls assign Sirius's attack to the left attack and Orion's to the right attack. Do not assume this mode uses the same attack behavior as the individual tap abilities.
When are his support and movement tools useful?
Light's Sanctuary is the explicitly described ally-support option: its well heals and revives allies and reduces incoming damage. Coronal Ejection can collect pickups along its path while dealing Heat Damage, which makes that ability useful when those pickups lie along the throw's route. Sirius & Orion have listed base stats of 475 health, 355 shields, and 160 armor, with a sprint speed of 1.15. Swapping grants an unspecified amount of Ability Efficiency for an unspecified number of casts; below 50 energy, the two steal energy from each other. The placeholders prevent stating the swap bonus's value or duration.
What should you consider before investing or comparing?
The listed polarities are Vazarin, Naramon, and an aura polarity of Vazarin. Orion & Sirius is listed as a comparison candidate with different base stats—350 health, 270 shields, and 300 armor—but no abilities or polarity details are provided for it, so the stats alone do not establish it as a replacement. Caliban and Dante are also candidates, with summaries describing crowd control and survivability, or support and damage, respectively; their provided summaries do not establish that they share Sirius & Orion's switchable kits or star-based attack.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Celestial Clash consumes a Constellation Star with each attack, and abilities are needed to generate stars.
- The three Orion ability names are listed without their effects.
- The swap-based Ability Efficiency bonus has unresolved value and cast count; do not plan around a specific magnitude or duration.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating held Orion abilities as if they had Sirius's documented effects.
- Using Celestial Clash without accounting for its star consumption or the need for abilities to generate stars.
- Assuming the unresolved Ability Efficiency and cast-count placeholders provide a particular bonus.
