Understand Stradavar
Useful when…
- Use full-auto for repeated shots at its listed 10 shots per second.
- Use semi-auto when its separate damage distribution and listed probability values fit the desired firing rhythm.
Two attack modes
Full Auto Mode fires at 10 shots per second and lists 28 damage per shot: 9.8 Impact, 9.8 Puncture, and 8.4 Slash. It has 24% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 12% status chance. Semi-Auto Mode fires at 5 shots per second and lists 30 Puncture, 12.5 Slash, and 7.5 Impact; these components sum to 50. It has 28% critical chance, the same multiplier, and 16% status chance.
Magazine and reload
The rifle has a 65-round magazine and a 2-second reload. The listed overall fire rate is 10, while semi-auto mode is specifically listed at 5 shots per second. The two modes have different listed damage and probability values.
Related convertible rifles
Kuva Hind adds semi-automatic and automatic modes to a burst rifle. Aeolak pairs automatic radiation fire with a charged explosive projectile, while Ambassador pairs charged explosive shots with rapid electrical assault fire. These descriptions cover different firing patterns.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Automatic mode has twice the listed cadence but lower per-shot damage, critical chance, and status chance than semi-auto.
- Semi-auto has a more Puncture-heavy listed damage profile and lower cadence.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using the overall fire-rate value as the semi-auto mode's rate.
- Assuming both attacks share per-shot damage or status chance.
