Understand Telos Boltor
Useful when…
- Use normal fire for sustained projectile shots when you can lead targets.
- Consider the two listed polarities when planning compatible mod slots.
Normal attack
Normal Attack is an automatic projectile mode listed at 9.33 shots per second with projectile speed and flight both 90. Each shot lists 30 damage: Puncture 27 and Impact 3. Its critical chance is 30%, critical multiplier 2.4x, and status chance 16%. The magazine holds 90 rounds, reload takes 2.4 seconds, and accuracy is 25. Since the attack is projectile-based, moving targets may require leading.
Incarnon Form
Incarnon Form is a separate projectile mode, listed at 10.33 shots per second and projectile speed and flight of 85. Its damage is Impact 2, Slash 12, and Puncture 6; it has 36% critical chance, a 3.2x critical multiplier, and 10.67% status chance. These values differ from the normal attack, especially the lower status chance, so keep mode-specific expectations separate.
Mod planning and comparisons
Telos Boltor has Vazarin and Madurai polarities, a rank cap of 30, and mastery requirement 12. Ambassador is described as switching between charged explosive shots and rapid electrical fire, while Opticor Vandal is described as a precision-crafted Opticor; Purgator 1 is classified as a launcher. Those differences point to distinct handling and weapon types, not automatic replacements for Boltor's projectile rifle fire.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Projectile travel requires leading moving targets.
- Incarnon Form has lower listed status chance than normal fire.
- Its normal attack is primarily Puncture damage, with only 3 listed Impact damage.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using normal attack stats to describe Incarnon Form.
- Assuming Incarnon Form keeps normal fire's status chance.
- Treating projectile attacks as hitscan.
