Understand Trinity
Useful when…
- Mark enemies with Energy Vampire to give allies energy over time.
- Use Blessing to restore allies’ Health and Shields and reduce damage they take within Affinity Range.
- Activate Link to channel damage Trinity takes to a nearby enemy.
Support abilities
Well Of Life creates a well on an enemy that absorbs Status Effect damage intended for nearby allies; allies gain additional Health when they attack that target. Its description also says that if allies die, enemies in the well die in their stead. Energy Vampire marks enemies and gives allies energy over time. Link channels damage Trinity takes to a nearby enemy while active. Blessing restores Health and Shields to allies within Affinity Range while reducing the damage they take.
Passive and range
Trinity’s passive gives allies in Affinity Range a portion of Trinity’s Max Energy as Health. The percentage is unresolved, so the amount cannot be quantified. Blessing and the passive both specify Affinity Range; Energy Vampire’s description says allies gain energy over time when enemies are marked.
Stats and comparison
Trinity has 270 Health, 270 Shields and 105 Armor, with two Vazarin mod polarities and a Vazarin aura polarity. Trinity Prime lists 270 Health, 455 Shields and 135 Armor and has additional listed mod polarities; its supplied ability descriptions match Trinity’s. Oberon is described as a healer and ally supporter, but that description does not establish Trinity’s Energy Vampire or Blessing effects.
Ability conditions
Energy Vampire gives allies energy over time when enemies are marked, and Link channels damage while active. Well Of Life’s description says allies gain additional Health when they attack the target. Preserve its separate stated clause precisely: if allies die, enemies in the well die in their stead.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Several effects have conditions: enemy marks, active Link, allies attacking the Well Of Life target, or Affinity Range.
- The passive’s percentage of Max Energy is unresolved.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assigning a numeric value to the passive’s unresolved percentage.
- Assuming Blessing or the passive affects allies outside Affinity Range.
- Paraphrasing Well Of Life’s ally-death clause as a general effect beyond its supplied wording.
