Understand Wukong Prime

Ability kit
Celestial Twin creates a companion that fights beside Wukong. Attacking at range makes the twin use melee; drawing a blade makes it provide covering fire. Reusing the ability commands the twin to attack a target with increased damage. Cloud Walker turns Wukong into a mist cloud that floats through the battlefield, dazes enemies encountered, and heals Wukong and his twin. Defy makes Wukong and his twin invulnerable and defies enemies to attack. All damage is captured and returned in a staff strike, followed by bonus Armor relative to the damage captured. Primal Fury summons the iron staff.
Passive and survival effects
Wukong Prime’s passive description says that after fatal damage he automatically uses one of his mastered survival techniques. These techniques can be invoked only three times per mission. Cloud Walker heals Wukong and his twin; Defy captures damage and returns it in a strike while granting bonus Armor relative to the captured damage.
Prime stats and comparisons
Wukong Prime has 455 Health, 345 Shield, and 290 Armor, with 145 Power and sprint speed 1.05. It lists Naramon, Vazarin, and Madurai mod polarities and a Madurai aura polarity. Ordinary Wukong’s comparison lists 455 Health, 270 Shield, and 265 Armor. Revenant and Caliban have different described roles and stat profiles; their descriptions do not establish Wukong’s twin and cloud abilities.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The passive survival techniques can be invoked only three times per mission.
- The Prime’s listed differences are stats and mod polarities; the described abilities match Wukong’s.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting Prime to change how the twin responds to Wukong’s weapon use.
- Describing Cloud Walker as turning both Wukong and the twin into mist; it turns Wukong into mist and heals both.
- Treating the passive survival techniques as unlimited.
