Understand Flawed Fast Deflection
Useful when…
- Adding a small Shield Recharge bonus to a Warframe mod setup.
- Using its lower rank ceiling when a larger recharge bonus or shorter delay is not required.
What does it do?
Flawed Fast Deflection increases Shield Recharge: +10% at rank 0, +30% at rank 2, and +40% at its maximum rank of 3. It has no listed effect on Shield Recharge Delay, so its benefit is narrower than the standard Fast Deflection mod.
Compatibility and fit
It is a standard Warframe mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 2. It is explicitly incompatible with Fast Deflection, so choose one rather than planning to equip both. Consider the flawed version when its recharge-only bonus is enough for the role you need from that slot.
Rank investment and alternative
It reaches its full +40% Shield Recharge at rank 3. The supplied fusion examples show costs increasing from 20 Endo and 966 Credits for rank 0 to 1, to 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits for rank 2 to 3. Standard Fast Deflection reaches +90% Shield Recharge and also reduces Shield Recharge Delay by 45% at rank 5; weigh that larger effect against its higher maximum rank and the fact that the two versions cannot be equipped together.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Provides recharge only; the description lists no recharge-delay reduction.
- Its rank cap and maximum recharge bonus are lower than the standard version.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming it reduces Shield Recharge Delay; only Shield Recharge is listed.
- Trying to equip it with standard Fast Deflection, which is explicitly incompatible.
