Understand Fired Up
Useful when…
- Build stacks on a frequently hitting Sentinel weapon.
- Use when you can maintain hits without a gap of five seconds.
Stacking and reset
At maximum rank, each hit adds 5% Heat Damage to the weapon, stacking up to 100%; stacks reset after 5 seconds with no hits. At rank 0, each hit adds 0.8% up to 16%; rank 3 gives 3.4% up to 67%. The listed per-hit bonus and cap are weapon mod effects, not final damage figures.
Equipment and investment
Fired Up is a Sentinel mod with Madurai polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 5. Example fusion costs rise from 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for rank 0 to 1, to 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for rank 2 to 3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits for rank 4 to 5. Higher ranks raise both the per-hit gain and maximum stack bonus.
Different Sentinel priorities
Regen and Primed Regen concern Sentinel recovery and revival rather than weapon damage. Assault Mode tells the Sentinel to attack the first visible enemy within 30 meters. These serve survival or targeting roles and are not substitutes for Fired Up’s stacking Heat bonus.
Listed sources
The supplied drop list names Orokin Drone, Orokin Spectator, and Corrupted Crewman as sources.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Stacks require repeated hits and reset after five seconds with no hits.
- Maximum-rank fusion examples have high Endo and Credit costs relative to the early step.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming stacks persist through a five-second gap without hits.
- Confusing Fired Up’s weapon damage role with Sentinel recovery or attack-targeting mods.
