Understand Primed Regen
Useful when…
- Reduce Sentinel recovery time after it is downed.
- Give a revived Sentinel its listed 10-second invulnerability window.
Effect and conditions
At rank 0, it reduces Sentinel recovery time by 5 seconds; rank 5 reduces it by 20 seconds; rank 10 reduces it by 35 seconds. Each listed rank grants 10 seconds of invulnerability on revival. It is a Sentinel precept with Penjaga polarity and base drain 4, and cannot be equipped with Regen.
Rank investment
The precept has 10 ranks. Listed steps cost 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits from rank 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9 to 10. The invulnerability duration stays at 10 seconds in the listed rank effects; ranking raises the recovery-time reduction.
Distinguish companion roles
Regen has the same listed 10-second invulnerability on revival and reduces recovery time by 20 seconds at its maximum rank. Assault Mode tells the Sentinel to attack the first visible enemy within 30m, while Fired Up adds Heat damage to a weapon per hit and resets after five seconds without hits. These are different effects; Primed Regen supports Sentinel recovery rather than defining its attack behavior.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Ranking improves recovery-time reduction but does not change the listed 10-second invulnerability.
- It occupies a Sentinel precept slot and has base drain 4.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 10-second invulnerability as increasing with rank.
- Expecting it to provide the attack behavior of Assault Mode.
