Useful when…
- Increase Archmelee attack speed in combat.
Effect and use
Furor applies a flat attack-speed bonus to compatible Archmelee weapons: +2.5% at rank 0, +7.5% at rank 2, and +10% at rank 3. It is a Madurai-polarity standard mod.
Rank investment
The mod has three ranks and base drain 4. Its listed fusion steps cost 20, 40, then 80 Endo, with 966, 1,932, then 3,864 Credits. Rank it further when the incremental attack speed is useful enough for your build and capacity.
Choosing an Archmelee mod
Astral Slash adds Slash damage, while Blazing Steel adds Heat damage; neither provides Furor’s attack-speed effect. Astral Autopsy instead scans an enemy on a fatal strike and requires an equipped Codex Scanner with an available charge. These serve different purposes and are not direct replacements.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The maximum bonus is 10%, so its value depends on whether faster attacks matter more than another Archmelee mod effect.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Installing it on a non-Archmelee weapon.
- Assuming its attack-speed percentage is a final damage increase.
