Understand Resonating Quake
Useful when…
- Modify Sound Quake with the augment’s channeling Gas effect.
- Build around enemies remaining in Banshee’s sight during the channel.
Effect and condition
At maximum rank, Sound Quake channels Gas Damage and Status Effect leaks with a 2.75x Damage Multiplier that increases every second on enemies in your sight. The sight condition matters: enemies outside Banshee’s sight are not included in the described effect.
Mod fit and rank investment
This is a standard Banshee augment with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. Rank 0 begins at a 2x multiplier; rank 2 lists 2.5x. Rank-up examples cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo and 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits for the successive steps. The modest rank range makes its listed final step much smaller than the listed rank-10 mod examples.
Other Banshee augments
Savage Silence modifies Silence with enemy staggers and increased Finisher damage; Resonance can trigger another Sonar after a kill on a Sonar weak point; Sonic Siphon grants armor for enemies hit by Sonic Boom. They affect different abilities, so consider them when those ability effects better fit the intended setup.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The described damage increase depends on enemies being in sight while channeling.
- Uses a standard mod slot and has base drain 6.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the increasing multiplier applies to enemies outside Banshee’s sight.
- Treating the augment as an effect for Silence, Sonar, or Sonic Boom.
