Understand Flawed Heavy Impact
Useful when…
- Add a heavy-landing-triggered knockdown effect when a standard slot and 2 base drain fit the build.
- Choose a rank up to 3, with the shockwave’s listed radius and damage increasing as it ranks up.
Effect and trigger
A heavy landing creates a seismic shockwave that deals damage and knocks foes off their feet. The listed effect starts at 0.5 m and 50 damage at rank 0, reaches 1.5 m and 150 damage at rank 2, and tops out at 2 m and 200 damage at rank 3.
Slot and ranking
This Uncommon, flawed Warframe mod has Naramon polarity, base drain 2, a standard slot, and maximum rank 3. The rank 2-to-3 fusion step costs 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits. It is explicitly incompatible with Heavy Impact.
Compare the versions
Standard Heavy Impact has base drain 4, uses an Exilus slot, and reaches a listed maximum of 6 m and 300 damage. Flawed Heavy Impact has lower base drain, uses a standard slot, and reaches 2 m and 200 damage at rank 3. Adaptation grants resistance in response to damage, while Adept Surge changes mobility and health; neither description lists a heavy-landing shockwave.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The shockwave is triggered by a heavy landing.
- It uses a standard slot, while Heavy Impact uses an Exilus slot.
- Its rank 3 radius and damage are lower than Heavy Impact’s listed maximum.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Calling Flawed Heavy Impact an Exilus mod; it uses a standard slot.
- Treating its rank 3 effect as Heavy Impact’s 6 m, 300-damage maximum.
- Trying to equip it alongside Heavy Impact, which is explicitly incompatible.
