Understand Ice Spring
Useful when…
- Use in a Warframe Exilus slot when its movement and bullet-jump effects fit your setup.
- Compare the elemental version with the Heat, Electricity, or Impact alternatives according to the desired bullet-jump element.
What does it do?
At max rank, Ice Spring gives +24.2% Parkour Velocity, +24.2% Aim Glide/Wall Latch Duration, and +275% Cold on Bullet Jump. At rank 0 the listed values are +2.2%, +2.2%, and +25%; rank 5 gives +13.2%, +13.2%, and +150%.
Slot and similar mods
It is a Warframe Exilus mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 2. Firewalker and Lightning Dash list the same maximum parkour and aim-glide/wall-latch bonuses, but add Heat and Electricity on Bullet Jump respectively. Battering Maneuver is an Impact option with lower listed movement and duration bonuses (+18% each) and +60% Impact on Bullet Jump. These effects make the alternatives distinct choices rather than additional Ice Spring effects.
Fusion investment
This mod ranks to 10. Listed steps include 30 Endo and 1,449 credits from rank 0 to 1; 960 Endo and 46,368 credits from rank 5 to 6; and 15,360 Endo and 741,888 credits from rank 9 to 10. The later investment raises all three effects, so decide whether the maximum movement, duration, and Cold bonuses justify the cost.
Practical use
The Cold bonus is specifically listed for Bullet Jump, while the parkour and aim-glide/wall-latch bonuses are separate effects. If Heat, Electricity, or Impact is the intended elemental choice, the comparison mods provide those effects instead. Listed acquisition records include enemy, Duviri, and Uranus cache sources.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a Warframe Exilus slot.
- High ranks require substantial listed Endo and credits.
- Its Bullet Jump element is Cold.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Confusing the Bullet Jump Cold bonus with a general weapon Cold bonus.
- Ignoring the long-rank fusion costs when planning to max it.
