Understand Link Vitality
Useful when…
- Increase companion health using a percentage of the Warframe's maximum health.
Effect and dependency
At maximum rank, Link Vitality adds health equal to +125% of the Warframe's maximum health. The bonus is +11% at rank 0 and +68% at rank 5. This standard Companion mod has Vazarin polarity and base drain 2. Its benefit depends on the Warframe's maximum health.
Ranking cost
The mod has ten ranks. Its listed 9→10 step costs 10,240 Endo and 494,592 Credits to increase the linked bonus from +113% to +125%. The final increment is a resource tradeoff, especially if a lower rank already provides enough of the intended linked health.
Related companion mods
Enhanced Vitality lists +250% health and is explicitly incompatible with Link Vitality. Accelerated Deflection improves shield recharge and reduces shield recharge delay, while Aerial Bond's listed effects depend on being airborne. These mods address different companion stats or conditions; they do not reproduce the Warframe-linked health effect.
Listed sources
The listed sources include Drahk, Kubrow, and Tamm enemy types, plus an Earth cache Rotation C reward. The listed chances are reward information, not a promise of acquisition.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The health bonus depends on the Warframe's maximum health.
- Cannot be equipped with Enhanced Vitality.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the maximum-rank bonus is a flat amount of companion health.
- Trying to equip Link Vitality together with Enhanced Vitality.
