Understand Primed Charged Shell

Useful when…

  • Add Electricity to a compatible shotgun's mod setup.
  • Use an intermediate rank to manage mod capacity or conserve fusion resources.

Effect, compatibility, and polarity

Primed Charged Shell is a standard-slot shotgun mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 6. Its listed Electricity bonus is +15% at rank 0, +90% at rank 5, and +165% at rank 10. It cannot be equipped with Charged Shell or Flawed Charged Shell.

Rank and comparison

Charged Shell reaches +90% Electricity at rank 5, while Primed Charged Shell reaches +165% at rank 10. Its rank 9-to-10 step costs 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits. The Flawed version reaches +40% at rank 3. Accelerated Blast is a different standard-slot shotgun mod that lists +60% fire rate and +60% Puncture, so it is not an Electricity substitute.

Capacity and application

The Primed version has base drain 6 and uses Naramon polarity in a standard slot. A partial rank can offer an intermediate Electricity bonus while managing available capacity; max rank is an investment for the full listed effect.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • The full +165% requires max rank and expensive final-rank fusion.
  • It uses a standard shotgun slot with base drain 6.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Treating +165% Electricity as the weapon's final damage increase.
  • Trying to equip the Primed, standard, or Flawed Charged Shell versions together.
