Understand Primed Deadly Efficiency
Useful when…
- Adding conditional damage to an Archgun when reloading from an empty magazine is part of its use.
- Choosing a stronger, longer-lasting version of Deadly Efficiency.
Effect and trigger
On reload from empty, this standard Archgun mod grants +220% Damage for 17 seconds at rank 10. The trigger matters: a reload that does not begin from an empty magazine is not the stated condition. At rank 0 the bonus is +20% for 2 seconds; at rank 5 it is +120% for 9 seconds.
Rank investment
It can be fused through rank 10, with base drain 4 and Madurai polarity. Ranks 9 to 10 cost 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits, increasing the listed bonus and duration to their maximums. Regular Deadly Efficiency has the same trigger and polarity, reaches +120% for 9 seconds at rank 5, and also has base drain 4. It is a lower-rank alternative rather than a second effect to stack with the Primed version.
Slot and other Archgun choices
The mod occupies a standard Archgun slot and excludes Deadly Efficiency. Ammo Chain instead increases Archgun maximum ammo by 100%; Archgun Ace grants fire/charge rate and reload speed for 9 seconds after a headshot kill. Those alternatives address ammunition or a different conditional handling pattern, not the empty-reload damage effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The damage bonus requires reloading from empty and lasts a limited time.
- The final rank requires 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reloading before the magazine is empty and expecting the stated trigger to activate.
- Treating the bonus as permanent; it lasts 17 seconds at maximum rank.
