Understand Primed Redirection
Useful when…
- Increase Shield Capacity on a compatible Warframe.
- Compare against Redirection when deciding how much capacity and mod investment to use.
Effect and compatibility
It grants +16% Shield Capacity at rank 0, +98% at rank 5, and +180% at rank 10. It is a standard Warframe mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 6. Redirection and Flawed Redirection are incompatible with it.
Rank investment
This mod has 10 ranks. Its listed examples cost 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits from rank 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9 to 10. The six-point base drain and late-rank cost are relevant when deciding how far to fuse it.
Compare shield options
Redirection reaches +100% Shield Capacity at rank 10 with base drain 2; Flawed Redirection reaches +25% at rank 3 with base drain 2. Adaptation instead grants resistance to a damage type after being damaged, stacking up to 90% for 20 seconds. That is a different defensive effect, not a shield-capacity substitute with the same behavior.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The mod's base drain is 6, higher than the compared Redirection options.
- Full fusion requires large late-rank Endo and Credit costs.
- Shield Capacity is only one defensive stat; the input does not describe a frame's other defenses.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip it with Redirection or Flawed Redirection.
- Treating more Shield Capacity as a complete account of survivability.
