Understand Flawed Redirection
Useful when…
- Use when a modest Shield Capacity bonus is useful and this flawed variant is the available option.
- Consider its low rank cap for a short-term setup before replacing it with a compatible build choice.
Effect and restrictions
The mod is a standard Warframe mod with Vazarin polarity. It grants +6% Shield Capacity at rank 0, +19% at rank 2, and +25% at rank 3. Its incompatibility list names Redirection and Primed Redirection, so it cannot be equipped together with either of those variants.
Practical use
Use it only where its modest capacity increase is worth a standard Warframe slot. It does not list any effect beyond Shield Capacity, so do not treat it as damage resistance or additional health.
Rank investment
It has three ranks, with example fusion costs of 10 Endo and 483 credits for 0→1, 20 Endo and 966 credits for 1→2, and 40 Endo and 1,932 credits for 2→3. Its maximum is +25%, compared with Redirection's +100% and Primed Redirection's +180%, so the modest cap may make deep investment less attractive if you already have access to one of those alternatives.
A different defensive option
Adaptation is not another shield-capacity variant: it grants resistance to the damage type that hits the Warframe, with each listed stack lasting 20 seconds and stacking to 90%. That conditional resistance serves a different function from Flawed Redirection's flat capacity increase.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its maximum bonus is +25% Shield Capacity, below the listed Redirection and Primed Redirection bonuses.
- It cannot be equipped with Redirection or Primed Redirection.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Equipping it alongside Redirection or Primed Redirection despite the explicit incompatibility.
- Assuming its shield-capacity bonus also increases health or damage resistance.
