Understand Proton Pulse
Useful when…
- Movement-focused Warframe setups that use Wall Dashing before Bullet Jumps.
- Players looking for a conditional mobility bonus in the Exilus slot.
What does it do?
At maximum rank, Wall Dashing grants +100% Bullet Jump Speed. Rank 0 grants +25%, and rank 2 grants +75%. The effect is tied to Wall Dashing; the listed properties do not describe a general Bullet Jump bonus when that condition is absent.
Fit and investment
Proton Pulse is a Warframe Exilus mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 3. Fusion costs are 10 Endo and 483 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 20 Endo and 966 Credits from rank 1 to 2, and 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 2 to 3. The short rank track makes the maximum bonus comparatively accessible, but the value still depends on using Wall Dash as part of movement.
How does it compare?
Battering Maneuver, Firewalker, and Ice Spring are also Exilus movement mods, but their listed bonuses combine Parkour Velocity and Aim Glide/Wall Latch Duration with, respectively, Impact, Heat, or Cold on Bullet Jump. They do not list Proton Pulse’s Wall Dash condition or its Bullet Jump Speed effect. Choose based on which stated movement trigger and additional effects fit your setup.
Acquisition
Jupiter’s Ganymede Disruption Rotation A is a listed source. The listed chance there is 11.11%. The named Amalgam, Aurax, and Demolyst enemies are also listed sources, each with a listed chance of 3.27%.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Bullet Jump Speed bonus requires Wall Dashing.
- Using the Exilus slot for this movement effect means using it for this conditional effect rather than another Exilus mod.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the bonus applies to every Bullet Jump regardless of Wall Dashing.
- Treating it as an ordinary standard-slot mod; it is an Exilus mod.
