Understand Regenerative Molt
Useful when…
- Add health recovery to a Saryn setup that regularly casts Molt.
- Use the lower ranks if you need the effect but want to conserve fusion resources or mod capacity.
What does it do?
After casting Molt, Saryn regenerates health for 10 seconds. The effect scales from 20 Health/s at rank 0 to 40 Health/s at rank 2 and 50 Health/s at rank 3. The listed rate is health restored per second; it is not a one-time heal.
When should you consider it?
It is relevant when Molt is part of your ability use and you value sustained personal recovery after casting. It only helps Saryn, occupies a standard mod slot, and requires casting Molt to trigger; it does not describe healing for allies.
How far should you rank it?
The mod reaches rank 3, with base drain 6 and Zenurik polarity. Rank 0 already gives 20 Health/s; rank 2 gives 40 Health/s, while the final step adds 10 Health/s. The listed rank-up costs rise from 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for the first step to 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for the last. Choose the final rank when that additional recovery is useful enough to justify the investment.
How does it differ from Saryn’s other augments?
The listed alternatives support different actions: Contagion Cloud adds kill-triggered toxin clouds after Toxic Lash, Revealing Spores adds enemy radar for infected enemies, and Venom Dose grants nearby allies Corrosive Damage when casting Spores while holding the cast. Those effects do not replace this mod’s post-Molt healing; compare them according to the ability and benefit you want to augment.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Consumes a standard mod slot for a Molt-triggered healing effect.
- The last rank costs more than earlier steps for a 10 Health/s increase over rank 2.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting healing without casting Molt.
- Treating the listed Health/s as a one-time heal or an ally effect.
