Understand Vampire Leech
Useful when…
- Convert excess Energy from Energy Vampire into Shield replenishment.
- Use when the additional Shield support is useful to your Trinity build.
Effect and condition
Vampire Leech modifies Energy Vampire: excess Energy replenishes Shields. The conversion is 150% at rank 0, 200% at rank 2, and 225% at rank 3. The effect is specifically tied to excess Energy from Energy Vampire; the description does not make it a general shield-restoration effect.
Fusion and slot fit
The augment has maximum rank 3, Zenurik polarity, and base drain 6. Example rank costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for 0→1, 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits for 1→2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for 2→3. Ranks raise the listed conversion percentage. Invest according to how much value you expect from converting Energy Vampire’s excess Energy into Shields.
Other Trinity augment roles
Pool of Life adds Health Orbs and a guaranteed Energy Orb when marked enemies die. Abating Link reduces Armor Rating by 60% on enemies targeted by Link. Champion’s Blessing grants Primary and Secondary Critical Chance for 30 seconds based on healing allies, up to 350%. These support orb generation, enemy armor reduction, and weapon critical chance respectively; they do not convert Energy Vampire’s excess Energy into Shields.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Shield replenishment depends on Energy Vampire producing excess Energy.
- Uses a standard mod slot and base drain 6.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming all Energy Vampire energy restores Shields; the effect applies to excess Energy.
- Expecting the augment to replenish Shields independently of Energy Vampire.
