Understand Vigilante Armaments
Useful when…
- Use on a primary weapon when Multishot is a desired part of the build.
Effect and rank values
The mod adds +10% Multishot at rank 0, +40% at rank 3, and +60% at rank 5. It is a primary weapon mod; the input does not provide weapon-specific behavior, so do not read the listed bonus as final damage.
Slot and investment
Vigilante Armaments uses a standard slot, has Naramon polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. Its listed rank 4 to 5 fusion step costs 160 Endo and 7,728 Credits. Rank it according to available capacity and the value of the additional Multishot in the build.
How other primary mods differ
Combustion Beam adds an explosion after an enemy is killed. Hunter Munitions is described as applying an unspecified effect on critical hits, so its missing effect should not be inferred. Aero Periphery changes zoom while aim gliding and occupies an Exilus slot. These have distinct effects rather than replacing the Multishot bonus directly.
Acquisition
The listed entries include Earth/Cetus level 20–40 bounty Rotation B and Plains Commander. Multiple entries are reported for the bounty, with different listed chances; treat them as separate reward entries rather than combining them into one chance.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It consumes a standard slot that could hold another primary mod.
- The value depends on whether Multishot fits the weapon build.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Confusing Multishot with a guaranteed final-damage multiplier.
- Assuming the incomplete Hunter Munitions description specifies an effect.
