Choose a form for the effect you need, and invest in that form’s own combat talent tracks.
Hydro★★★★Candace's Burst grants Prayer of the Crimson Crown to the active character. It increases Elemental damage dealt with Normal Attacks, triggers up to three Hydro waves when characters take the field, and infuses sword, claymore, and polearm users with Hydro. Her Skill offers a hold barrier and a leaping Hydro strike.
Electro★★★★★Cyno's Burst changes his weapon attacks to Electro and gives him a long on-field stance; his Skill becomes a stronger duration-extending strike during that state. Consider him when the party can support sustained field time and benefit from his Elemental Mastery scaling.
Anemo★★★★Faruzan is an Anemo bow support whose Burst repeatedly grants nearby party members Anemo DMG Bonus and reduces nearby opponents’ Anemo RES. Consider her when an Anemo damage dealer can use those buffs and you can reliably fund her 80-energy Burst.
None★★★★★Lumine uses a sword and can take Anemo, Cryo, Dendro, Electro, Geo, Hydro, or Pyro form. Each form has its own normal attack, skill, and burst track; their shared sword attacks are five-hit combos, two-hit charged attacks costing 20 Stamina, and plunging attacks. Consider her when you want to adapt the Traveler to a form’s particular damage, elemental application, or support mechanics.
Dendro★★★★★Tighnari is a Dendro bow user whose Skill creates a field that taunts opponents and grants faster Wreath Arrow charging for up to three shots. His Wreath Arrows create tracking Clusterbloom Arrows, and his Burst fires tracking Tanglevine Shafts.
