Character and Weapon Enhancement Material
An obsidian talisman that houses a Wayob Manifestation. It consists of a jade idol figurine encased in obsidian. They say that in the past, people often used such figurines to attempt to communicate directly with the Wayob of the Night Kingdom. Perhaps this also explains why the Wayob can dwell within it and manifest itself in physical form.
Used by the supported upgrade goals listed below. Requirements depend on the selected current and target levels.
Catalyst★★★★Ring of Yaxche is a catalyst for a high-HP wielder whose damage comes from Normal Attacks. Using an Elemental Skill starts a 10-second bonus that scales with Max HP and has a stated cap. It is less suited to a character whose relevant damage is mainly from Charged Attacks, Skills, or Bursts.
Catalyst★★★★★Starcaller’s Watch gives its wielder Elemental Mastery and, after that character creates a shield, can increase the current active party member’s damage against nearby opponents. Consider it when the catalyst wielder can create a shield and the damage buff can benefit the on-field attacker.
Sword★★★★Sturdy Bone reduces sprint stamina use and grants a temporary Normal Attack damage increase after sprinting. Consider it for a sword wielder who deals meaningful Normal Attack damage and can use the short post-sprint window.
Catalyst★★★★★Surf’s Up increases Max HP and grants timed stacks that raise Normal Attack damage after an Elemental Skill. Vaporize can restore stacks as Normal Attacks consume them. Consider it for a catalyst wielder whose damage uses Normal Attacks and can trigger Vaporize during the effect window.
Catalyst★★★★Waveriding Whirl reduces swimming Stamina use and grants temporary Max HP after its wielder uses an Elemental Skill. Consider it for an HP-scaling catalyst user, especially when the party includes Hydro characters; its exploration benefit is separate from its combat buff.
