None★★★★★Aether’s value depends on the chosen form: the abilities range from Anemo grouping and elemental absorption to Cryo crystal attacks, Dendro field support, Electro energy effects, Geo constructs, Hydro aimed attacks and Pyro coordinated damage. Choose a form for the effect you need, and invest in that form’s own combat talent tracks.
Dendro★★★★★Baizhu uses his Elemental Skill to send out a sprite that attacks up to three times before returning to heal nearby party members. His Elemental Burst creates renewable shields that heal the active character and deal Dendro damage when shields are created, expire, or break. Characters healed by those shields receive a short reaction-damage bonus that scales with his Max HP.
Electro★★★★Beidou combines a reactive Skill with an attack-triggered Burst. Tidecaller’s hold shield absorbs damage and increases its counter damage when Beidou is hit, reaching its greatest bonus after two hits. Stormbreaker reduces damage and interruption while enabling lightning discharges when the active character lands Normal or Charged Attack hits.
None★★★★★Lumine uses a sword and can take Anemo, Cryo, Dendro, Electro, Geo, Hydro, or Pyro form. Each form has its own normal attack, skill, and burst track; their shared sword attacks are five-hit combos, two-hit charged attacks costing 20 Stamina, and plunging attacks. Consider her when you want to adapt the Traveler to a form’s particular damage, elemental application, or support mechanics.
Anemo★★★★★Xianyun combines party healing with a Burst that raises nearby active characters' jump height and supports Plunging Attacks. Her Skill lets her leap up to three times before a Plunging Attack, so consider her for teams that want healing and plunge-focused play, or for her own Anemo mobility and plunge damage.
Hydro★★★★Xingqiu is useful when the active character can use Normal Attacks during his Burst: those attacks trigger consecutive Hydro sword rain. His Skill and Burst create Rain Swords that reduce damage and improve interruption resistance. The Burst costs 80 Energy, which is a practical consideration when planning its use.
Pyro★★★★Consider Xinyan when you want a shield that can also deal periodic Pyro damage and increase shielded characters’ Physical damage. Her skill’s opponent-count thresholds determine the shield level; her burst combines a Physical hit with Pyro explosions.
Pyro★★★★Yanfei converts Normal Attacks into Scarlet Seals and spends those seals on stronger, wider Charged Attacks. Her skill and burst grant maximum seals; her burst also boosts Charged Attack damage while she remains on field.
Geo★★★★★Zhongli’s held Elemental Skill creates a Jade Shield that absorbs Physical and Elemental damage and reduces nearby opponents’ resistances. His burst adds AoE Geo damage and brief petrification, while the Stone Stele can resonate with nearby Geo constructs.
Geo★★★★★Zibai’s Elemental Skill activates Lunar Phase Shift for 15 seconds, changing her Normal and Charged Attacks to unoverrideable Geo damage and enabling Spirit Steed’s Stride. Her damage and reaction support both use DEF: Geo teammates add DEF, while Hydro teammates add Elemental Mastery and Hydro Crystallize becomes Lunar-Crystallize. Her Elemental Burst deals two Geo hits and extends the active mode when used during it.
