Choose a form for the effect you need, and invest in that form’s own combat talent tracks.
Dendro★★★★★Alhaitham’s Elemental Skill creates Chisel-Light Mirrors. While he has Mirrors, his normal, charged, and plunging attacks deal Dendro damage and can trigger Projection Attacks. His burst consumes existing Mirrors for additional damage instances, then creates Mirrors based on how many it consumed.
Electro★★★★Dori’s burst summons a Jinni that connects to a nearby character, healing them, regenerating their Energy, and applying Electro; the connecting line also damages opponents it touches. Her skill adds a tracking Electro shot followed by two tracking rounds. Consider her when you want healing and Energy support together, with Electro application tied to the Jinni connection.
Dendro★★★★Kaveh is a Dendro claymore character whose skill and burst immediately detonate Dendro Cores in their area. His burst also converts his attacks to Dendro, increases their area, and boosts the damage of Dendro Cores created by his party through Bloom or Lunar-Bloom. Consider him when the party creates those cores and can keep him on field during his burst.
Cryo★★★★Layla creates a Max-HP-based shield that periodically builds Night Stars into homing Cryo shots, while her burst fires additional Cryo slugs that can help build those stars. Consider her when you want shield coverage alongside recurring Cryo damage.
None★★★★★Lumine uses a sword and can take Anemo, Cryo, Dendro, Electro, Geo, Hydro, or Pyro form. Each form has its own normal attack, skill, and burst track; their shared sword attacks are five-hit combos, two-hit charged attacks costing 20 Stamina, and plunging attacks. Consider her when you want to adapt the Traveler to a form’s particular damage, elemental application, or support mechanics.
Dendro★★★★★Nahida combines multi-target Dendro marking with a burst field that improves her skill’s Tri-Karma Purification according to party elements. Her skill and burst support both on-field and off-field use; her passive also lets her collect certain harvestable items remotely.
